Join me as I visit this spectacular French NATURIST ISLAND…LE LEVANT!

As in, yes, you can walk around this island in the nude!!!

Ile du Levant (better known as ‘Le Levant’ by the French), was by far my most favourite naturist destination on my French Nakation itinerary. It was an absolute standout! And not only in France, but overall! Yep, that’s right!

I mean, imagine…a stunning island in the south of France, with azure waters, bougainvillea dotting the properties, enchanting sunsets and the most magical of golden hours that feel like they last all day long. A island upon which you can roam free in the nude, where the people are warm, friendly and welcoming…where lunches blend in with dinners, and dinners into the creative arts…with performances such as dance, shibhari and cabarets frequently adorning the island into the early hours of the morning. A community of naturists, creatives and sensualists living in peace and harmony in nothing but what they were born in…

This is Le Levant.

It is one of the three islands that make up the ‘île d’Hyères’ and is located off of the Var Coast, in the Côte d'Azur region, in the South-Eastern part of France.

Much of the island is a military zone and remains inaccessible; with only the west side open to the public.

But it is this ‘public’ space which is occupied by ‘Héliopolis’, a ‘naturist domain’ which extends for over 80 hectares….with nudity being optional everywhere within the Héliopolis domain, except in public places such as the port, restaurants and shops.

Yes, this is an island around which you can be completely naked…what a dream, right?! Well, this dream became a reality for me in July 2023…and now you can glimpse it too!

I know you’ll be adding this to your naturist bucket list…and I HIGHLY recommend it!

In this episode, you’ll come with me as I make the journey to the island, explore my ‘libertine’ bed and breakfast, enjoy some time down by the sea, venture down to the port for a gig and make that STEEP uphill climb to the city centre, ‘Place Durville’. I also provide candid, daily diary entries…giving you insight into my first-hand experience on the island, as well as all the info, tips and tricks you’ll want to know for your visit there!

The episode is just over an hour long, blending the practical and informative aspects of a visit there with some long, slow scenes which will have you feeling like you’re on the island with me…on island time! This episode will provide you with all you’ll need to know to organise a trip there, as well as tones of tranquility and serenity.
