Townsville Naturist Community - a shocking encounter in the shower

Back in June 2022, Katya and I spent a night in our campervan at ‘Townsville Naturist Community’ as part of our exploration of the nudist scene in North Queensland.
Join us as we explore the grounds, enjoy some slowness and meet some real true blue characters!
Townsville Naturist Community was established in 1969 and was previously known as the ‘Townsville Nudist Club’, but changed its name to ‘Townsville Naturist Community’ in recent years.
The campground is located in Majors Creek, about 40km outside of Townsville, Queensland, Australia. And whilst the club’s headquarters have moved around over the years, it has been based here since 2017.
The club sits on 100 acres of land and some of the facilities include a club shed, camp kitchen, toilet block, communal showers, outdoor shower, washing machine, BBQ, internet, TV and more.
This video gives us plenty of layers that include an interview with a member of the club who is also a local artist, a hilarious shower encounter with the larakin of the club, some nice slow tv scenes and, of course, a tour of the grounds. It also includes one of the most ‘Aussie-looking’ scenes I think I’ve filmed to date. Keep an eye out for the kitchen scene and let me know if you pick up on it!
