Join me in the nude from this tropical little gem in the first episode from my ‘Far North Queensland’ series.
A quiet, secluded and remote beach backing onto the stunning UNESCO World Heritage Daintree Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef; Cape Kimberley is the first coastal beach area after crossing the Daintree River.
Whilst it is not an official nude beach (because there are still no legal nude beaches in the state of Queensland!), it is not really popularly known as an unofficial nude beach either.
On mine and Katya’s 10 day exploration of Far North Queensland, we had many locals and fellow nudists that we met along the way recommend this quiet stretch of beach to nude up on…and, of course, we did! As they all forecasted…there was barely a bum on the beach!
Cape Kimberley is 3.5km long and has a direct coastal walk that takes you to the mouth of the Daintree River.
The landscape is beautiful and the beach is ruggedly-fringed with tropical palm trees…butt beware, like many beaches in Far North Queensland, there are crocodiles about (with more than plenty of ‘crocodile warning’ signs so you get the idea). Also notorious to the tropics of Far North Queensland are the deadly Irukandji jellyfish. So whilst the water looks glorious and oh-so-tempting, you won’t often find many people swimming in it due to crocs and jellyfish.
It felt every bit wild and remote at times…but it really is as breathtakingly beautiful as you would imagine it to be…where the Daintree Rainforest meets the Great Barrier Reef.
So, get yourself some refreshments, sit back and enjoy this tropical adventure.
Thank you again for being curious and staying open-minded.
Happy viewing and nude hugs!
Jessa
