Cap Taillat is a stunning gem located near the ancient village of Ramatuelle in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region of France. Only a 20 minute drive from the famous and glitzy town of St. Tropez, it is connected to the mainland via a sandy isthmus, and the walking trail there boasts small coves and beaches, some of which are nude-friendly. 

Located inside the ‘Port-Cros National Park’, the area is a beautifully-preserved nature reserve that is situated at the end of the St. Tropez peninsula.

This location was never initially on my French Nakation itinerary, and I hadn’t even heard of it until I was staying in St. Tropez. My 3 days in St. Tropez were meant to be a little break from work and filming, but after being recommended this beach…I decided to go and check it out for myself…and thank goodness I did!  

Given it is not a ‘well-known’ nude beach (meaning it doesn’t really come up when researching nude beaches in the area), I was totally unprepared and without any of my filming gear. I thought I was just going there for a leisurely peek and wasn’t sure exactly what I’d find.

Lo and behold, it was truly one of the more beautiful finds on my French Nakation. And, yes, nudity is permitted on some of the beaches there! 

So, given I didn’t bring my filming gear with me on this excursion, and given I couldn’t NOT share it with you all, I filmed this episode on my iPhone!

Join me as I venture from ‘Plage de l’Escalet’ to a nudie spot on the rocks on the way to Cap Taillat. 

You’ll need to pick your jaw up off of the floor after seeing the breathtakingly sparkling azure waters here that glisten under the sunlight like diamonds. 

And whilst a little overrun with textiles, if you’re ever in the area, I would highly recommend a visit here! Even just to take in the beauty and perhaps fit in a skinny dip!
