Join me at Europe’s largest naturist resort...

Euronat!

Situated on the Médoc peninsula in Gironde, in the Aquitaine Region of France, and set amongst 335 hectares of pine forest, Euronat is located on the Atlantic coast and backs onto 1.5km of naturist beach.

Only 15 minutes down the road from the famous CHM Montalivet (the world’s first naturist holiday resort!), I made the short drive to Eurnonat where I would be staying for the next 3 nights.

As was the case at CHM, I was initially booked to be camping at Euronat…having lugged all of my camping gear with me all the way from Australia. But, as I was still sick, I upgraded to a ‘mobile home’ again, as I had done so when I was staying at CHM.

Whilst I was on the mend from being unwell, I still wasn’t able to really take advantage of all of the abundance of facilities that this naturist village has to offer…or even the nude beach!

I did, however, ‘go into town’ a few times…town being the ‘shopping centre’ where there are over 25 businesses…ranging from grocery stores, to cafes, to wine cellars, to a bike shop and so much more.

Some of the other facilities on offer at Euronat include a a spa and wellness centre, an aquatic complex, sporting facilities, kids clubs, various activities (cultural, wellness, craft, sporting) and so much more.

Euronat’s spa is home to the largest naturist thalassotherapy center in France (thalassotherapy is the use of seaweed and seawater in health treatments as a form of therapy)…and I think many of you know how much I LOVE to be pampered…so it was really a bummer that I wasn’t able to enjoy the spa whilst I was there.

With regard to accomodation, Euronat offers a variety of options; including: tents and cabanes, bungalows, mobile homes, studios, chalets and villas.

They also provide a 4-star naturist campsite and has an array of camping pitches to suit those with tents, campervans, caravans etc.

It is a family-friendly environment and caters to children with its various kids clubs and facilities.

Upon arriving, it was cold! And like at CHM when I initially arrived, many nudies were clothed for practical reasons. As the weather began to warm up before I left, the village bared more and more nude people…including myself. It was really cool to be able to shop for my groceries in the nude and order at the very popular boulangerie at the village.
