The 'North Queensland' series is officially here! And we're kickstarting it with style...at the nothing-less-than-luxurious 'Seclude Rainforest Retreat'.

Back in June 2022, my friend, Katya, and I ventured to the North Queensland region to explore the nudist scene up there.

We jumped off the plane and picked ourselves up a hire car and headed straight to 'Seclude Rainforest Retreat'...a luxe clothing optional retreat nestled amongst 160 acres of pristine Whitsunday rainforest in Palm Grove.

This retreat operates as both a clothing optional and textile (clothed) retreat. The retreat boasts 3 luxurious accommodation options...each one with its own private jacuzzi...that's the kind of luxurious we're talking about!

Our lodge had a wraparound balcony that had stunning and uninterrupted views of the valley...all of which you could see from every room in the lodge too. With an open living plan...it was and felt spacious, private and serene.

The retreat also offers a buggy service from reception to each of the rooms too. Again, luxury...but also necessary as there is quite the steep and lengthy walk from reception to the rooms!

As well as a fully equipped and self-contained kitchen, the retreat also offers breakfast, lunch and dinner hampers if you don't feel like cooking or heading out.

We were originally booked in for 3 nights, but ended up extending to 4. We also used the retreat as a base for a couple of other nudie adventures (we explored 2 unofficial nude beaches, 'Horseshoe Bay' and 'Smalleys Beach'), and Seclude was a great base...and the perfect landing pad after a big day out exploring.

Along with the communal pool and BBQ area, we bring you along for what a day (or a couple) at a clothing optional retreat looks like. From unpacking, to cooking breakfast, to getting ready, to having lunch by the pool, giving you a tour of the facilities, the buggy rides with Tony, cooking dinner and eating it on the couch by the TV, to enjoying a morning stretching on the balcony...this video has it all!
