Shelly Beach - my Great Dane's first experience at a nude beach
19m
Back in February 2020, I road tripped down the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia, and stopped by at 3 different nude beaches...the first one being my return to the beautiful Shelly Beach...which I show you are around in this episode.
On my way down and along my adventures, I also get a sneaky nude photo in front of the iconic 'Big Banana' landmark in Coffs Harbour! I also stop off at a beautiful AirBnB in Minimbah for the night where I indulge in some nude cooking...and enjoy the amazing outdoor shower! You'll also be introduced to my adopted 8 year old, 80kg Great Dane, 'Soldier’!
Since adopting Soldier in February 2019, this was his first official visit to a nude beach; and whilst Shelly Beach is not necessarily a dog-friendly beach, there was just no way we could leave this big fur baby in the car...and there was no way I was passing by without a visit after 4 years and a 9 hour drive!
Plus...he’s more like a horse, right?
Shelly Beach is an unofficial nude beach located in the Great Lakes area (Pacific Palms) of New South Wales in Australia. It is about 250m long and accessed via a scenic 500-600m walking track over a hill through Booti Booti National Park. Its location is secluded and serene and indulges you in a cove-like setting with crystal clear waters.
I can say that Soldier had the best time sitting on the sand and frolicking in the water and was also a hit with the Shelly Beach regulars we met.
So, come along and join us for the ride as we show you this amazing nude beach on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia.
Nude hugs,
Jessa
