In the tenth episode from Spanish Nakation, we’re exploring the world famous nude beach of Vera Playa!
Vera Playa is one of Spain’s (and maybe even Europe’s) most famous stretches of nude beach and is located in Vera, in the Almeria region of Spain. 

It has been an official nude beach since the 1970s and the naturist section of the beach stretches over 2km long (some say it’s anywhere between 2-3km long). 

The nude beach also backs onto the ‘naturist zone’ where you can stroll around the streets in the nude and that which has over 10 naturist ‘urbanisations’/complexes and, of course, the famous nudist hotel ‘Hotel Vera Playa’.

It is a family-friendly beach and is also very LGBTQIA+ friendly. 

With some public toilet facilities scattered along the beach, as well as rubbish bins, there is also some wheelchair access at a few intersections coming from some of the venues and down onto the beach. 

In this episode, you’ll join me for the short stroll from the famous nudist hotel ‘Hotel Vera Playa’ (where I stayed for nights) and down onto Vera Playa itself…a mere stone’s throw away from the hotel. With it being nice and early in the morning (to avoid the busy crowds), we’ll get to enjoy a quite morning on the beach as the sun gently and slowly rises over the ocean…with the sound of the waves lapping at the shore lulling us into a sense of relaxation and bliss. 

I also stroll along the beach and show you around some of the well-known ‘chiringuitos’ (beach bars) that dot the nude beach…and where one can sip and dine in the nude. 

Finishing off with a rinse in the outdoor shower just outside the hotel, I’ll then head back to my hotel room where I divulge all you’ll need to know for any potential trips you might have planned to Vera Playa. 

And whilst the video does not give an indication of just how busy Vera Playa actually gets…believe me, it gets busy! With it being one of Europe’s most famous naturist destinations…you’ll just have to take my word for it!
