Many of you have probably heard of this place and all of the scandalous rumours that give it the notoriety it has gained and continues to well and truly uphold.

Cap d’Agde is the resort part of ‘Agde’, a town located on the Languedoc coast, in the Occitanie region, in the south-west of France.

Each year, around 40,000 people flock to Cap d’Agde in the summer months.

Many incorrectly assume that you can be naked everywhere in Cap d’Agde…but this is not the case. To have the nudist experience in Cap d’Agde, you must specifically visit the ‘naturist village’ within Cap d’Agde, where access and entry is regulated, and where you must pay an ‘entrance fee’. In this video, I give you all the information you need to make it as clear as possible for your next trip there.

A town that is teeming with thousands of naked people in the day…but come evening, you’ll see less and less naked people and more and more clothed people…albeit in either the sheerest and skimpiest of clothes, lingerie or, perhaps, in some leather or fetish costumes.

The naturist village has a marina and is said to have around 180 businesses: including 10 nightclubs, 10 bars, over 20 restaurants, a bank, post office, grocery shops, adult stores and so much more.

It also backs onto 2km of naturist beach, which was officially designated as a naturist beach in 1973.

The beach is known to have its ‘sections’…the ‘naturist’ section, ‘couples’ section, ‘swingers’ section, ‘exhibitionist’ section etc; and in this episode, I provide some clarity on how it all works.

As a first-timer in Cap d’Agde, and with so much ambiguity surrounding it, it can be a little confusing navigating how to get there, where to go and what to do (or what not to do!).

So, in sharing this video, I hope it can help you to decide whether you do or don’t want to come here...and if you do, where to go and where to avoid (depending on what you’re looking for).

In this episode, I bring you along for the journey there (I drove over 6 hours to get there from my previous naturist destination ‘Euronat’), glimpses from a night out, a trip to the grocery store, making breakfast in the apartment, a trip to the beach, more shopping and a very VERY candid and detailed recall of my personal experience in Cap d’Agde.

For me, it had been on my naturist bucket list for years…I mean, what nudist isn’t curious about this place and whether all of the stories are a myth or reality? I wanted to know whether it would really live up to its reputation...and boy did it ever!
